Your driver will be waiting for you in front of the VISITORS CENTER , as you exit baggage reclaim into the ARRIVALS LOBBY. The driver will be holding an iPad display your name (Name of booking).

Lyon airport

Your driver will be waiting for you as you exit baggage reclaim into the ARRIVAL LOBBY of Terminals 1,2,3. The driver will be holding an iPad display your name (Name of booking).

Chambery airport

Frequently asked questions

Does my transfer cost more on weekends,public holidays,at night or early morning?

No.
Our prices are the same regardless of day or night or public holidays or weekends.

How will I recognise my driver?

The driver will be holding an iPad display your name (Name of booking).

Where will I meet my driver?

You will receive an email and sms which explains where exactly your driver will be meeting you.
Your driver is authorised by the airport authorities to pick up from a specific location.

Is it a door to door transfer?

Your driver will meet you at a predetermined meeting point ie airport arrivals lobby or hotel reception or it’s designated parking.
Your driver will drop you off at a predetermined drop off point or it’s designated parking if possible.
If your destination has no designated parking area ,your driver will drop you off as close to your predetermined drop off point suitable by drivers discretion ,ensuring the safety of the client,driver and vehicle.
Your driver does not leave his vehicle unattended.

What if my flight is delayed?

DELAYS AND FORCE MAJEURE
Passengers must inform APT of any delay that results in a late arrival at agreed transfer time and agreed transfer pick up /meeting point.
This will enable the driver to apply his discretion according to the delay and how it might affect his other responsibilities and transfers.

In the event of delayed flights resulting in the Client being unable to meet APT at the designated meeting point on the agreed time, we will endeavor to wait when it is possible, however we can not cancel or be late for other reserved transfers due to reasons beyond our control such as a delayed flight.

When it is possible, we will wait 1 hour, after the agreed transfer time, free of charge.
When it is not possible, according to the driver’s discretion, we will wait 15 minutes,after the agreed transfer time, free of charge.

Any additional time would be charged at 50 euros per hour, when possible, or the transfer will be declared a “no show” in which event the transfer will be refer as a” no show” and the  driver will continue with his other duties and transfers.
APT will not refund the transfer.

APT will always endeavor and use every reasonable means to ensure that the vehicle arrives on time to begin the transfer and that it reaches its destination on time.
APT will not incur any liability in the event of any delay due to circumstances beyond its control ie.traffic delays due to snow conditions.

APT accepts no responsibility in the eventuality of delayed flights or missed flights due to bad weather or snow conditions, traffic congestion and /or accidents, manifestations or force majeure circumstances that’s results in the client arriving late at the agreed transfer time.

Clients are advised to always check their own travel insurance as to delayed or missed flights.

When do I pay?

Clients make a 100€ deposit payment via a Stripe link supplied by APT.
The balance of the agreed transfer price must be paid in full, at your transfer departure, by VISA or MASTERCARD.

How do I pay ?

You pay 100€ deposit on reservation of your transfer via STRIPE link supplied by APT.
You can pay by either VISA or MASTERCARD at the departure of your transfer.

Can my driver stop at a supermaket before arriving at my destination ?

Yes.
Any unforeseen stops, excluding the thirty minutes agreed comfort stop, is charged at 50€/hour.
If it delays the journey time, the client accepts full rsponsability.
Unforseen stops are paid by card (visa or mastercard).
All unforseen stops are at the discretion of the driver.
